So, I’ve decorated cookies for the first time and I so used the wrong stuff. What do you use to decorate yours?

Hi! Your cookies are amazing and remind me so much of my childhood!
Since almost 10 years, I am trying different recipes to find the same taste of my neighboor’s cookies. I remeber her mom used to make chritmas tree cookies with all the decorations…
Is there a chance you could share your recipe with me (the ingredients of the cookie and its topping)? Maybe those will be the one!!
    Thank you so much!
